Executive Director, Riley Center/Museum
The Board of Trustees is seeking an Executive Director who will be responsible for developing and implementing the overall vision and strategy for the Riley Center/Museum with the Trustees and staff. The Executive Director is the Chief Administrative and Artistic Director of the Museum, and is responsible for the daily operations including fiscal management and curatorial responsibilities. The Executive Director should have a solid background in the historical and cultural preservation and management with an accredited organization, preferably in museum leadership or management. The Executive Director should have exceptional oral, written and management skills; he or she will be the key spokesperson for the Museum and must be able to convey excitement and appreciation for the mission, exhibitions and programs. The candidate must also have experience in fundraising.

A Masters or PhD in history, administration, or equivalent experience is required. Alternative credentials may be considered for applicability. Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Basic: Master degree from a regionally accredited institution and two years of appropriate experience; or a Bachelor degree from a regionally accredited institution and four years of appropriate experience.
