Happenings at the Riley House Museum...
 

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

IMLS/FLORIDA LEGISLATURE AWARDS GRANT
The Riley House Museum, as part of its Florida African American Heritage Preservation Network component, received a grant from the Institute of Museums and Libraries and from the Florida Department of State through a legislative appropriation to conduct an intensive professional development training program for Directors of African American museums and cultural organizations across the state of Florida. Nineteen Directors have received services and Ten Directors were targeted to participate in FAME (Florida African American Museum Exchange) forum to receive ongoing technical assistance and skill development (see www.faahpn.com).
 

Join the Leon County Library as the Riley House Museum presents "The African American Experience and the Capacity to Adapt".  Guest Speaker - Althemese Barnes, Founding Executive Director of the Riley House Museum.
